World’s largest storage Hard Disk(16TB) unpacked by samsung

Samsung supersized the IT world with 16TB Hard Drive(SSD), technically, it’s 15.36TB.

What is mean by SSD(solid-state drive)?
A solid-state drive (SSD) also known as a solid-state disk though it contains no actual disk, nor a drive motor to spin a disk) is a data storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data persistently.

This enormous Harddisk has a packed size of 2.5-inch. So this drive can use within laptops and desktop PCs. The success and failure of Samsung hard disk depend only on fault rate/error rate produced after use.

Seagate and Western Digital published 8TB and 10TB HDDs last year and Fixstars state a 6TB SSD simply a few months ago.
